frustration at work

well i guess work politics suck... it alwaise does, unless you are the leader of the pack.

unfortunately i am just a pawn, or so i feel like one. given little authority, but just as easily is stripped away... but hey, what can i do? i do my job, work my long hours... someone else takes the recognition when it's good and get reprimanded when things aren't going correctly. man... i am just so frustrated with the "#1" (my direct report)... nothing good can come from her. *sigh* i am de-motivated... but i really shouldn't let that get to me or bother me. i need to somehow overcome this. : /

i miss college...

college was quite a fun time... so much randomness... maybe randomness makes me happy.  

miss all the college friends too.
